Norsemen Contracting is a father-son owned business located in the heart of Sunset Country. With a combined 55 years of experience Greg and Jake Moncrief have built Norsemen to encompass their belief that hard work is a quality to be proud of.

We are passionate about the area we work in, and work hard to keep it the natural wonder that it is. When we build roads, septic fields, and retaining walls, we work to make sure that we preserve the natural area as much as possible.

We know that home owners and cottagers who live here want to take advantage of the natural beauty of their surroundings. Their passions have become ours, and that is why we’ve embraced natural materials and focus on work that is grounded in the landscapes that make up our homes.
Our Gabion Basket retaining walls are unique to us. They make use of natural materials and the stone is custom chosen to blend into your landscape. Less invasive processes make for quick recovery of the landscape, getting you back to relaxing and enjoying your home or cottage much faster.

Homeowners have been our focus since the inception of Norsemen Contracting in 2016. Prior to that Greg and Jake worked together on large scale industrial projects such as road construction, Rite of Ways, power lines, forestry, and communications infrastructure. All of their knowledge from these projects can be seen in the exceptional workmanship and attention to detail that shows up on every Norsemen Contracting job site.
